2025 Dakar Rally: Sainz will race with team Ford and M-Sport for the title

Ford will compete in the 2025 Dakar Rally against Carlos Sainz Sr., an old buddy. Following a lengthy hiatus from rallying, the former WRC and Dakar Rally champion will drive the Ford Raptor in the T1+ class. Ford Performance and M-Sport collaborated to create the 2025 Dakar Rally Ford Raptor.

At the next Dakar Rally, Ford will have a four-person rally squad. Mattias Ekstrom, a former teammate at Audi, Mitch Guthrie Jr., who finished second in the T3 class at the 2024 Dakar Rally, and Nani Roma, a two-time Dakar winner, will join Sainz. The team’s objective is to win the Dakar title at the next event.
