Alpina B8 GT Is The Most Powerful Model, To Be The Last Solo Model From Alpina

The B8 GT, Alpina’s most powerful vehicle to date, is based on the BMW 8 Series Gran Coupe. With its upgraded 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that generates 634 horsepower and 850 Nm of torque, it can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds. The B8 GT, which is limited to 99 pieces, has a sophisticated carbon fiber body makeover, 21-inch forged wheels, and an opulent interior with wood trim and leather. It honors founder Burkard Bovensiepen, who died in 2023, and is the last single vehicle produced by Alpina before it joined BMW. The B8 GT effortlessly combines performance and luxury, reaching a peak speed of 330 kph.

The BMW 8 Series Gran Coupe-based B8 GT, Alpina’s most powerful vehicle, has been unveiled. According to a 2022 agreement, the B8 GT would probably be Alpina’s final vehicle as a stand-alone tuner before the business joins BMW. It has an upgraded 4.4-liter V8 engine.

BMW’s 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 petrol engine, which produces 634 horsepower at 5,500–6,500 rpm and 850 Nm of peak torque at 3,500–5,000 rpm, powers the B8 GT. Interestingly, the B8 GT only takes 0.4 seconds longer to sprint from 0-100 kph than BMW’s fast four-door sedan, and its output number is 1 horsepower less than that of the M5 CS. Alpina also asserts a peak speed of 330 kph and a 0-200 kph time of 10.5 seconds.

According to Alpina, just 20 of the 99 B8 GTs that will be produced will have a dual-tone paint job that contrasts black with a blue or green finish. With a more noticeable rear diffuser, forged 21-inch alloy wheels, custom Pirelli P Zero tires, unique emblems, a leather and wood interior, and a metal cup holder insert with creator Burkard Bovensiepen’s autograph, all of the vehicles will have a mild carbon fiber body package. At the age of 87, Bovensiepen died in October 2023.

It is a collector’s dream because to the custom interior, carbon fiber inlays, and distinctive Alpina features. The B8 GT, which marks the conclusion of Alpina’s independent adventure, not only pays tribute to its rich history but also lays the groundwork for further BMW-Alpina partnerships, guaranteeing that its reputation for performance and luxury will endure.
