Ducati XDiavel V4 Launch With The New V4 Granturismo Engine.

Ducati has set the stage for an exciting launch with a teaser on its social media channels, hinting at a new motorcycle debuting on February 13. From the low-slung, raked-out silhouette, all signs point to the arrival of the new XDiavel V4.

The previous XDiavel was built on the same platform as the V-Twin Diavel 1260 but was distinctly more cruiser-oriented. It featured numerous internal and external modifications to enhance comfort and deliver a more laid-back riding experience. Now that Ducati has transitioned the Diavel to a V4 configuration, it’s only logical that its cruiser-styled counterpart, the XDiavel, will follow suit.

In the V-Twin iteration, the XDiavel’s engine was tuned to deliver peak torque at lower RPMs, making it better suited for relaxed cruising. Ducati also replaced the Diavel’s chain final drive with a belt drive, reinforcing its cruiser character. If the new XDiavel adopts the same 1,158cc Granturismo V4 engine from the Diavel V4, we can expect performance figures to be in a similar range. The Diavel V4 currently delivers 168hp and 126Nm of torque, so the XDiavel should offer comparable output, albeit with potential refinements to suit its cruiser DNA.

Beyond its mechanical setup, the XDiavel has always distinguished itself with premium design touches. The previous-gen model featured billet-machined mirrors, artistically crafted alloy wheels, and a more relaxed riding stance, setting it apart from the sportier Diavel. The new XDiavel V4 is likely to retain such high-end elements while incorporating design cues and technological advancements from the latest Diavel V4.

Given Ducati’s pricing trends, the XDiavel V4 is expected to be positioned above its sibling. The previous XDiavel V-Twin was priced approximately ₹1 lakh higher than the Diavel. With the Diavel V4 currently retailing at ₹27.21 lakh (ex-showroom, India), the new XDiavel V4 is likely to carry a premium price tag when it reaches Indian shores.

With its blend of muscular performance, refined aesthetics, and relaxed ergonomics, the upcoming XDiavel V4 is set to strengthen Ducati’s presence in the power cruiser segment. All eyes are now on February 13 for the grand unveiling. The Ducati XDiavel V4 promises powerful performance, premium design, and cruiser comfort, reinforcing Ducati’s dominance in the power cruiser segment.
