A Celebration Of Italian Style: Ducati Panigale V4 Tricolore Revealed

Ducati has unveiled the Tricolore, its first limited edition model based on the second-generation Panigale V4. It will be limited to 1,000 pieces globally and, in true Tricolore form, will include some unique components and a custom paint job. The Panigale V4 was revised earlier this year by Ducati, and while it had several minor changes from the previous model, the most notable being that it no longer had a single-sided swingarm. The Panigale V4 Tricolore, which is based on the V4 S but features unique components and a custom paint job in the colour of the Italian flag, is also restricted to 1,000 units worldwide, according to the manufacturer.

The latest Panigale V4 Tricolore pays homage to the seventh generation of Ducati supersport motorcycles. A genuine collector’s model, it is a distinctive take on Ducati style that accentuates the brand’s history and unquenchable need for speed. A certificate of authenticity and a billet aluminum steering plate with the bike’s number on it are included with the Tricolore. Like the V4 R, the Tricolore also features an exposed dry clutch. The limited-edition Panigale V4 Tricolore, which combines performance and exclusivity, was introduced by Ducati. This particular model, which is limited to just 1,000 pieces worldwide, has luxury touches, carbon-fibre parts, Brembo WorldSBK brakes, and a distinctive paint inspired by the Italian flag.

The Tricolore comes with several carbon-fibre parts as standard, including the alternator cover, swing-arm shield, and front and rear mudguards. Additionally, it has five-spoke carbon fibre wheels that lower the unsprung mass by 950 grams. In spite of all these carbon-fibre components, the Tricolore weighs 188 kg (wet, without gasoline) more than the V4 S.
Additionally, it has the biggest Brembo T-drive finned discs on any production bike, at 338 mm in diameter. The Brembo Hypure calipers are the same size as those used in WorldSBK, and they are similarly coated in a distinctive titanium tone.
