It has been confirmed that January 7 will be the launch date for the Honda Elevate Black Edition. The SUV was reportedly spotted in production-ready condition, suggesting that its introduction is close. Both the Elevate Black Edition and the Elevate Signature Black Edition will be available from Honda.

Crystal Black Pearl exterior paint, gloss black alloy wheels, chrome on the top grille, silver on the roof rails, and silver on the lower portion of the doors are all features that the Honda Elevate Black Edition will have. The inside will include leatherette seats and be completely black.

The exterior, interior, and alloy wheels of the Elevate Signature Black Edition will all be configured similarly. In addition, the roof rails, front and rear fake skid plates, and bottom portion of the doors are all finished in black, as is the top grille. Additionally, this edition features seven-colour inside ambient lighting and an extra emblem on the front fender.

Since the top variation will serve as the basis for the Elevate Black and Elevate Signature Black Editions, it will include all the features that the top variant has. A camera-based ADAS suite, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a semi-analogue instrument cluster with a 7.0-inch TFT display, a single-pane sunroof, and automatic headlights and wipers are just a few of the essential features.

Since no technical modifications are anticipated, the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine with 121 horsepower will remain connected to either a manual or CVT automatic transmission.

Honda now offers its mid-size SUVs in all-black, joining other automakers in doing so. Maruti Suzuki has the Grand Vitara Black Edition, MG Motor has the Astor Blackstorm, and Hyundai has the Creta Knight Edition.

The Creta, Seltos, Grand Vitara, Hyryder, Kushaq, and Taigun are among of the vehicles that fiercely compete with the conventional Honda Elevate. The segment leader is Hyundai’s mid-size SUV, which sells an astounding 15,000 units on average per month (about).

To boost sales of Honda’s mid-size SUV, which have so far fallen short of projections, the launch was pushed ahead. Dealers report that Honda’s Elevate Apex version, which was debuted last year, has been gaining some popularity. In addition to the recently released Black Edition, Honda will still offer the Apex Edition.

Elevate’s prices range from Rs 11.69 lakh to Rs 16.43 lakh. The new all-black models are anticipated to start at roughly Rs 17.20 lakh, as the Black Edition is based on the top-spec Elevate ZX version and is anticipated to cost approximately Rs 75,000 more.
