Honda is all set to launch the new Amaze with Amaz-ing features

The recent drawings of Honda’s forthcoming Amaze have been released. The little sedan’s December 4 debut date has been confirmed by the manufacturer. Honda will be looking to the next generation to step up the game, as the Amaze has been consistently achieving positive figures. Seeing how the Amaze will compete with the freshly released Maruti Suzuki Dzire would be intriguing. Despite a declining trend in the car industry, the tiny sedan class is seeing an increase in temperature. What to anticipate from the third-generation Amaze is as follows.

According to Honda Cars India’s released designs, the new Amaze is more in line with the Civic and Accord that are sold worldwide and features a front fascia similar to the City and Elevate. Like the current City, the new Amaze has a low-slung sporty clamshell bonnet with eye-catching creases that create a sweeping statement. It also eliminates the boxy construction of the previous generation. Although it isn’t as broad as the SUV’s, the front grille incorporates elements of the sturdy Elevate design. The distinctive Honda chrome bar sits atop the grille and blends well with the angular and elegant LED headlights. The aggressive road style of the new Amaze is enhanced by the sharp front bumper design.

Honda has maintained the new Amaze’s dual-tone colour scheme and sleek, uncomplicated cabin. It could take elements and features from the Elevate. It may thus be equipped with a wireless phone charger, a 10.25-inch floating touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and perhaps a 7-inch digital instrument cluster. A new three-spoke steering wheel and a patterned dashboard panel that holds the air conditioning vents are added to the Amaze. The centre console has a 12V plug, many charging outlets, and metal-finished toggle switches for automated temperature control.

Although the Amaze’s sunroof isn’t seen in the designs, it may be something Honda has deliberately concealed. Advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) were reportedly rumoured to be included, however the business has not yet confirmed this. A 1.2-liter naturally aspirated gasoline engine is anticipated to power the next Amaze. Two transmission options will be offered for the powertrain: a CVT automatic and a 5-speed manual. On December 4, the Amaze will make its debut and compete against the Tata Tigor, Hyundai Aura, and new Dzire. Given that all of its competitors have this choice, it will be fascinating to see if Honda will eventually launch a CNG trim.
