Mercedes-Benz has launched the updated EQB in India, with prices starting at Rs 70.90 lakh. This all-electric SUV now comes in two variants: a 5-seater AMG Line and a 7-seater Electric Art Line, each with distinct specifications and features. The EQB positions itself above the newly introduced EQA in Mercedes-Benz’s all-electric lineup.
Mercedes-Benz EQB 5-Seater: What’s New?
The 5-seater EQB, available in the AMG Line trim, is priced at Rs 77.50 lakh (ex-showroom). This variant features a sportier design with an all-black cabin, sports steering wheel, and sports seats. Enhancements include ambient lighting, powered front-row seats with memory function, and a Level 2 ADAS suite comprising Distronic Active Distance Assist and Active Lane Keep Assist. The exterior showcases blacked-out elements such as spoke alloy wheels, side skirts, and roof rails. The front features a sealed-off gloss black panel with illuminated star patterns, adding to its distinctive look.
Powering the EQB 350 AMG Line is a twin-motor, all-wheel-drive setup, delivering a combined output of 288 bhp and 520 Nm of torque. It is equipped with a 66.5 kWh battery pack, offering a WLTP range of 447 km. The EQB 350 4Matic can accelerate from 0-100 kph in just 6.2 seconds.
Mercedes-Benz EQB 7-Seater: What’s New?
The 7-seater EQB 250+ comes in the Electric Art Line trim, priced at Rs 70.90 lakh (ex-showroom). This variant boasts advanced features like two 10.25-inch displays—one for the touchscreen infotainment and the other for the digital instrument cluster—running the latest-generation MBUX Gen 2 operating system. It also includes a premium 710W 12-speaker Burmester sound system and a head-up display.
The EQB 250+ is equipped with a larger 70.5 kWh battery pack, providing a peak WLTP range of up to 535 km. This version is powered by a single, front-mounted electric motor generating 188 bhp and 385 Nm of torque.
