
Mercedes-Benz Launches Updated EQS 580 4MATIC Highest Range Of 817 Km (ARAI)
In May 2025, Mercedes-Benz saw a noteworthy 73 percent YoY gain. The German brand debuted a limited-edition EQS 580 4Matic sedan variant on this occasion. This limited edition EQS 580 4Matic, known as the “Celebration Edition,” will only be made in 50 pieces. This special edition vehicle, which costs Rs 1.30 crore (ex-showroom), is more opulent than the regular EQS 580 4Matic since it has a few more features. The all-electric sedan’s outward and interior design, however, have not changed.
With features like the new multi-contoured rear seats that provide lumbar support and massage, Mercedes claims that the Celebration Edition of the EQS 580 prioritizes back seat comfort. Additionally, the seats can be repositioned up to 38 degrees. Additionally, Nappa leather upholstery is standard on the seats. The Celebration Edition includes electronically tiltable front seats as part of the Chauffeur Package.

In addition to a triple screen setup on the dashboard (which includes a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display, a 17.7-inch OLED infotainment system, and a 12.3-inch passenger display), the Celebration Edition of the EQS 580 has two 11.6-inch rear-seat entertainment screens and a 7-inch tablet.
Other noteworthy features of the EQS 580 include a panoramic sunroof, 4-zone climate control, electrically adjustable front seats with memory function, multi-color ambient lighting, wireless phone chargers, heated and ventilated seats, and a heads-up display (HUD) based on augmented reality (AR).

A full range of safety features, such as numerous airbags, a 360-degree camera, steering and parking assistance, rear parking sensors, and a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), are available in the premium electric car. Additionally, it has Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), which include features like driver attention monitoring, adaptive cruise control, automated emergency braking, and lane keep assist, among others.
The dual-motor configuration that powers the EQS 580 4Matic consists of two permanent synchronous electric motors with a maximum output of 516 horsepower and 855 Nm of torque. A 108 kWh battery powers the motors, which have an 817 km (ARAI) range on a single charge. Performance-wise, the EQS 580 4Matic can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 4.3 seconds and reach an electronically regulated top speed of 210 kmph.
