Maruti Suzuki E Vitara Launched In UK With Tons Of Features And Enhanced Safety
The highly anticipated e-Vitara, which offers a compelling combination of performance, range, and cutting-edge technologies, is expected to signal Maruti Suzuki’s major foray into the electric car industry. For entry-level vehicles, it has a 49 kWh battery; for higher variants, it has a more powerful 61 kWh battery. With a single engine, the 49 kWh model produces 142 horsepower and 192.5 Nm of torque. Its front-wheel-drive setup has a WLTP-certified range of 346 kilometres.
The e-Vitara’s Y-shaped LED headlights and tail lights, sturdy front bumper, and 18-inch alloy wheels all preserve Suzuki’s recognisable aesthetic features. Its interior features include a 10.1-inch digital instrument cluster, a 10.25-inch infotainment system, and high-end amenities like ventilated front seats and a 10-way electrically adjustable driver’s seat. Since it will be the first Maruti Suzuki vehicle in India to have Level 2 ADAS in addition to a 360-degree camera, TPMS, and up to seven airbags, safety is of the utmost importance. With its Motion and Ultra versions, the e-Vitara is ready to take on competitors such as the Hyundai Creta Electric, Tata Curvv EV, MG ZS EV, and Mahindra BE 6.
The e Vitara has two battery options: the top model has a 61 kWh battery, while the entry-level model is powered by a 49 kWh battery. It has 18-inch alloy wheels, keeps the Y-shaped LED tail lights, and maintains its design DNA. The cabin features a 10.1-inch all-digital instrument cluster and a 10.25-inch infotainment system. In addition, the Suzuki EV has a 10-way electrically adjustable driver’s seat, front ventilated seats, and more.
