In November 2024, Bajaj Chetak’s market share of 26.7 percent made it the nation’s best-selling electric two-wheeler, up from 2.3 percent in April 2022. In 2023, the electric scooter surpassed the 1 lakh manufacturing milestone and had previously surpassed the 3 lakh milestone.
Additionally, Bajaj has grown its network of EV service providers to over 3800 workshops nationwide, overseen by more than 4500 specialized professionals. Every person receives eight days of initial instruction. Additionally, Chetak just surpassed all other electric two-wheelers in sales on Amazon and Flipkart.
Yesterday, Bajaj introduced the Chetak 35 Series, a new generation of Chetak, in two models: the 3502 and the 3501. The ex-showroom prices of these models are Rs 1.20 lakh and Rs 1.27 lakh, respectively. At a later time, a third type, 3503, which will be less expensive than these two, will be introduced. Delivery of the Chetak 35 Series is anticipated to start by the end of this month, and reservations have already started.

A new 3.5 kWh battery pack for the Chetak 35 Series offers an IDC range of 153 miles on a single charge. A hub-based 4 kW permanent magnet synchronous motor is powered by this battery. The rated top speed is 73 kmph. Eco and Sport are the two available riding modes.
