The Upgraded Mahindra XUV 3XO: A Look At The Anticipated Features

Written by S Das

Mahindra is set to launch the highly anticipated facelift of its popular XUV300, rebranded as the XUV 3XO, on April 29, 2024. This refreshed model will compete with other subcompact SUVs like Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, and Hyundai Venue. Here are the key features and upgrades that Mahindra has confirmed for the new XUV 3XO.

Advanced Infotainment and Instrumentation

The 2024 XUV 3XO will boast a new 10.2-inch free-standing touchscreen infotainment system equipped with Mahindra’s latest AdrenoX UI. This system will enhance user experience with improved connectivity features, including advanced voice assist commands. Complementing this modern touchpoint is a new 10.2-inch fully-digital instrument cluster, which replaces the older model’s part-digital, part-analog setup.

Revamped Lighting

Mahindra has upgraded the lighting on the XUV 3XO with new dual-LED projector headlamps that incorporate C-shaped DRLs. The redesigned front bumper now includes new LED fog lamps. At the rear, the vehicle features a striking LED DRL strip that stretches across the reprofiled tailgate, connecting two C-shaped DRLs, enhancing the SUV’s visual appeal.

Skyroof – A Panoramic Experience

A standout feature in the XUV 3XO is the introduction of a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, branded as the ‘Skyroof.’ It is notably the largest sunroof in the sub-4 metre SUV category in India, promising to offer a more airy and luxurious cabin feel.

Remote Climate Control

While not unique in its segment, the updated XUV300 will include a remote climate control feature, allowing owners to adjust the cabin temperature remotely via the AdrenoX app, adding a layer of convenience before even entering the vehicle.

Superior Sound with Harman Kardon

Enhancing the in-cabin experience, the XUV 3XO will come equipped with a 7-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, designed to deliver superior sound quality and a richer audio experience.

Comfort and Convenience

The new model will also feature several enhancements aimed at improving comfort and convenience, including ventilated and powered front seats, wireless smartphone connectivity, a wireless charging pad, ambient lighting, and an overall more premium interior feel.

Enhanced Safety Features

Safety is a priority in the new XUV 3XO, with expected features including six airbags, an electronic stability program, traction control, a 360-degree camera, and a lane watch camera. Additionally, it might include an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), positioning it on par with competitors like the Venue and Sonet in safety technology.

With these updates, Mahindra aims to bolster the appeal of the XUV 3XO in the competitive subcompact SUV market, offering a blend of advanced technology, comfort, and safety.
