Updated Honda Activa 125 Launched At Rs 94,442

Honda has launched the updated Activa 125, now OBD2B-compliant and featuring a 4.2-inch TFT display with RoadSync app compatibility for navigation and call alerts. Equipped with a USB-C port and start-stop system, it retains the 123.9cc engine. Priced from Rs 94,442 to Rs 97,146, it marks a significant upgrade, competing with the TVS Jupiter 125 in the premium scooter segment.

Honda has released an improved Activa 125 scooter that features a new TFT display and is now compliant with the future OBD2B standards. Honda stands out for its reliable engineering, innovative features, and strong focus on customer satisfaction. With advanced technology, fuel efficiency, and a legacy of trust, Honda consistently delivers value and performance worldwide.

While the new Activa 125 has a 4.2-inch TFT, the old one still has an LCD display. Additionally, this display is compatible with Honda’s RoadSync software, which makes features like navigation aids and call notifications possible. Additionally, a USB type C charging port is included with the scooter.

Under the hood, the Honda Activa 125 is essentially the same save for fulfilling the revised OBD2B criteria that take effect in 2025. Among them is the fuel-injected 123.9cc engine, which generates 8.4 horsepower and 10.5 Nm of torque. There is a start-stop mechanism on the motor.

The 2025 Honda Activa comes in six different colours, and the base DLX model costs Rs 94,442, while the top-of-the-line H-Smart model, which includes a key fob and keyless ignition, costs Rs 97,146. The more costly pollution monitoring technology would be partially responsible for the significant increase in price from the Activa 125’s current starting price of Rs 80,256.

Honda has only released two models thus far, but future releases of more reasonably priced models with basic features like a front drum brake might lower the entry point. The top SmartXonnect model of the TVS Jupiter 125, which costs Rs 90,721, is the only other family-friendly 125cc scooter with a TFT.

The updated Honda Activa 125 blends advanced features like OBD2B compliance, a TFT display, and smart connectivity while retaining its reliable 123.9cc engine. Despite a price hike, it promises enhanced convenience and tech-savvy upgrades. Positioned against the TVS Jupiter 125, it sets a new benchmark for premium, family-oriented scooters in India.
