Air India unveils their new collection of newform for the cabin and cockpit crew designed by none other than Manish Malhotra, a celebrated fashion designer. The new uniform will be revealed over next few months by starting to drop from the entry of AIR India’s first Airbus A350 service.
The stunning palette used by the famous designer constitute aubergine, deep red, and burgundy with a little touch of gold. The airline claims the colour palette pays homage to the rich cultural heritage of India.

Manish Malhotra said his aim was to “create uniforms that captures the essence of India’s diverse culture and traditions while also embodying a modern and sophisticated look”. He said the motive behind adding the “quintessential hues that are symbolic to India” was to make the crew members not only proud, but also to “leave a lasting impression” on the guests letting them know the “warmth and hospitality that India is known for.
