British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran will perform in India as part of his much-anticipated Mathematics Asia Tour. The ongoing tour, titled ‘+ – = ÷ x’ and pronounced as “The Mathematics Tour,” is Sheeran”s fourth concert tour.
It began on 23 April 2022 in Dublin, Ireland, and will conclude in Mumbai, India. The tour in India scheduled to be on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at the Mahalaxmi Racecourse Mumbai and it will present as the grand finale for Sheeran”s Asia Tour. The event will also feature singer-songwriter Calum Scott as a special guest.

His forthcoming Mathematics Tour marks his return to Mumbai after six years. Besides, upcoming Asia tour will be his first since 2019, following the triumphant USA tour where he broke attendance record at multiple venues, including SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles and MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
The event in India is coproduced by ticketing platform, Book My Show. Pre-sales for the concert at Mumbai are planning to open on October 25, and the full ticket sales on October 27, 2023. Furthermore, ticketing options to the concert consists of three categories: General section tickets prices start from Rs. 5000, Deck tickets beginning from Rs. 9000, and the Premium Deck from Rs. 28,000.
The multiple-Grammy Award winning artist had a spectacular year with the record breaking albums, – (Subtract) and Autumn Variations. In both albums, Sheeran collaborated with Aaron Dessner, The National’s guitar player, received massive success and critical acclaim globally. Pop Sensation”s two-hour-long concert will be based on his albums including + (Plus), X (Multiply), ÷ (Divide), = (Equals) and the new album – (Subtract), as well as a song from 2019’s No. 6 Collaborations Project (Blow).
Forthcoming Asia tour marks international pop sensation”s third visit to India, prior performances were in 2015 and 2017.
