Emversity Acquires Kerala-Based Healthcare Talent Mobility Startup For $4.25 Million
Kochi, Kerala: Emversity, an employment-led training and recruitment platform, has acquired Kerala-based healthcare talent mobility startup Lanstitut Technologies.
The recruitment platform bought the mobility startup for roughly $4.25 million in a mix of cash and stock, according to a report by MoneyControl.

Founder in 2022, Lanstitut has trained close to 3,000 nurses and employs around 200 people. The startup offers an end-to-end mobility stack including language training, certification, visa processing, credentialing, relocation and on-ground support. The startup was co-founded by four young entrepreneurs: Khubaib Abdul Salam (CEO), Murshid Ibinu Rahman (CBO), Yasin Bin Saleem, and Abdul Vajid K.
The founder and CEO of the Emversity said that the acquisition aims to tap international demand for trained Indian workforce. The acquisition of Lanstitut is presumably pits Emversity against players like BorderPlus, which last year acquired Germany-based Onea Care to build hiring pipelines for Indian nurses into the country’s healthcare system.

The transaction has been structured as a share purchase, and Lanstitut continue to operate independently under its existing brand, with all four co-founders. Emversity buys startups opening up international demand corridors for Emversity’s talent pool, beginning with Germany, where Lanstitut trains Indian nurses in German and facilitates placements in hospitals.
