The Taj Cochin International Hotel began its operations today at Cochin International AirPort, Ernakulam. The hotel is built by Cochin International Airport Limited (CIAL) and is managed by Taj’s parent group Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL).
After the inauguration of the hotel, Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said the venture marks Kochi as the second airport in India with this business model. “It’s a key step in CIAL’s vision to make the airport an aviation hub in South India,” Mr Vijayan said in a social media post.
