2 Questions Dropped From JEE Main 2025 Session 2 Final Answer Key

Candidates who appeared in the JEE Main 2025 Session 2 Paper 1 held on April 2, 3, 4, 7, and 8 can check the final answer keys. JEE Main Answer Key has been released on the official website – jeemain.nta.nic.in.

Two questions have been dropped from the final answer key. This comes after some JEE candidates alleged nine errors in the JEE Main session 2 provisional answer key 2025.

NTA released the final answer key earlier on April 17 on JEE Main portal. However, the answer key was taken down and on April 18, NTA tweeted that the answer key will be released on April 18 by 2 pm and results will be declared by April 19, 2025.

The testing agency earlier deleted two questions, one each from the domestic and international sets of questions. The first, with Question ID 347577562, was in the April 3 first shift of the domestic set, while the second, Question ID 347577939, was also from the Physics section, of April 2 first shift in the international set.

Earlier, in an official notification NTA addressed the concerns about the discrepancies between the JEE Main 2025 Session 2 response sheets and provisional answer keys.

According to the JEE Main 2025 marking scheme, if more than one option is found to be correct than four marks will be given to only those who have marked any of the correct options for questions where all options are found to be correct then four marks will be given to all those who have attempted the question.
