CBSE Class 12 Biology Paper Was “Well Balanced,” Says Expert

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted Class 12 Biology paper today, on March 19, 2024 and according to an expert, the paper was a well-balanced. According to Anita Chandel, Head of Department-Biology, Army Public School, Delhi Cantt, the paper brought smiles to the faces of the students who were attending the science paper.

Here is the detailed analysis from Ms Chandel:

“Today’s Biology exam brought smiles to the faces of the students. The paper carried a good mix of direct questions, those are expected to help average students, and they are expected to score good marks.

For students who have studied every line in the NCERT book, as told by teachers, the paper was easy for them. The MCQ section was easy and direct.

It was a well-balanced paper with an average difficultly level and reinforced the basic ideas of the subject. It had a right mix of knowledge, understanding, analysis and application of the subject. However, scoring perfect score may not be so easy.”

The exam was scheduled from 10.30am to 1.30pm. Students appearing in the examination were advised to arrive at the center at least 30 minutes before the commencement of the exam with admit cards. Reportedly, the CBSE Class 12 examinations will end on April 2.
