CTET Admit Card For January 21 Exam Released

The Central Board of Secondary Education or CBSE said the CTET admit card has been released on the official website of the examination. The CTET admit card for the examination scheduled for January 21 has been made available for the candidates at ctet.nic.in.

“The admit cards for CTET to be held on 21/01/2024 with examination city information have been displayed in the candidates” application log-in. The candidates may log-in on the CTET website and see the examination city allotted to them. The admit cards with examination centre details will be available on the website two days before examination,” CBSE, the examination conducting authority of CTET said in a statement.

This is the 18th edition of CTET, an examination conducted by the CBSE as per the mandate given by the Minister of Education to find eligible teachers for recruitment in classes 1 to 8. Earlier in the first week of December, the CBSE had intimated the candidates that they can make correction in their particulars as per the schedule mentioned in the Information Bulletin, and the facility for online correction was made available on CTET website ctet.nic.in from December 4 to 8.

All questions in CTET will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), with four alternatives out of which one answer will be most appropriate, according to CBSE. The each MCQs will carry one mark and there will be no negative marking.

There will be two papers of CTET, and the paper I will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V and the paper II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII.

As the the National Education Policy 2020 emphasizes on digital literacy, digital pedagogy, use of technology and its integration so as to transform the entire nation into a digitally empowered society, the 18th edition of CTET will be conducted on Computer Based Test (CBT Mode).
