ICAI Revises CA January 2025 Foundation Exam Dates
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) issued a notification concerning the revision of the examination dates of the Chartered Accountant (CA) January 2025 Foundation course. As per the notice, the ICAI CA January 2025 exams are rescheduled due to the Makar Sankranti, Bihu, and Pongal festivals.
As per the new schedule, the ICAI will conduct the Chartered Accountant (CA) January 2025 Foundation examination on January 12, 16, 18 and 20, 2025.
The notice reads, ” It is hereby announced for general information that in view of Makar Sankranti/Bihu/Pongal festivals across India, the Chartered Accountant Foundation Examination January 2025 the said examination dtd 14th January 2025 stands rescheduled to 16th January 2025′.

However, there is no change in the schedule of ICAI CA Intermediate Exams 2025. The Group I exams will be held on January 11, 13, and 15 while the Group II exams are scheduled on January 17, 19, and 21, 2025.
Also there would be no change in the exam schedule in the event of any day of the exam schedule mentioned by the ICAI, being declared a Public Holiday by the central or state government or local authority.
The CA Foundation Exam is the starting point of the course and can be taken up following the completion of class 12. This preliminary exam has four stages, a student must clear all of them to advance to the next level. To pass the CA Foundation level a student require a minimum of 40% marks in each of the papers and a total of at least 55% in all the papers combined.
