CA January Exams 2025: ICAI Announces Dates For Foundation And Intermediate Exams

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced the examination schedule for ICAI CA in January 2025. The detailed exam timetable is available on the ICAI official website – icai.org. The application process for the exams will start on November 10 and the last date is November 23.

According to the schedule, the examinations for the Foundation Course will be held on January 12, 14, 16, and 18, 2025. The Foundation Course Paper I and II will be held from 2 to 5 pm and Paper III and IV will be held from 2 to 4 pm on all days.

The Intermediate Course exams will be conducted on January 11, 13, and 15 for Group I and on January 17, 19, and 21 for Group II. In the Intermediate course, all papers will be held from 2 to 5 pm on all days.

In Papers 3 and 4 of the Foundation Examination, there will not be any advance reading time, whereas, in all other papers/exams, an additional 15-minute time period will be given in advance from 1:45 to 2 pm.

CA January 2024 exams will also be held at 8 overseas exam centres including Abu Dhabi, Bharain, Doha, Dubai, Kuwait, Muscat, Kathmandu (Nepal) and Thimpu (Bhutan). The exam timing at Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Muscat Centres will be 12:30 pm – local time (2 pm IST), while at the Bahrain, Doha and Kuwait centres the exam will start at 11: 30 am – local time (2 pm IST). AT Kathmandu (Nepal) centre the exam will start at 2:15 pm (local time) and at Thimpu (Bhutan) centre the exam will be at 2:30 pm (local time).

The examination fee for the foundation level students is Rs 1500 and for intermediate level is Rs 1500 (single unit) and Rs 2700 for both the groups.
