Entrance examination for admission to Jamia Schools for the academic session 2024-25 began today at Jamia Millia Islamia(JMI) university. The entrance test for admission to class six was conducted today at 16 test centres.
A total of about 8200 candidates participated in the entrance test at the 16 test centres. Fifteen test centres were set up on the campus while one was arranged outside the campus, said Prof. Saeed Uddin, Professor in charge, Office of the Controller of Examinations, JMI.
The release issued by the university on March 30 said that the entrance test for class 9th will be conducted tomorrow. Entrance exams for undergraduate, postgraduate and other courses at the university will begin on April 25, 2024.
Prof. Iqbal Hussain, Officiating Vice Chancellor of JMI visited various examination centres on the university campus to see the arrangements. Officiating Registrar Mr Mohd. Hadis Lari and other officials were also with him during the visit, the release added.
