Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) has released the 2nd PUC Result 2024 today. Students can check their results at the official websites – karresults.nic.in and kseab.karnataka.gov.in.

As per the reports, over 5.52 lakh students passed the exam out of a total of 6.9 lakh, which means 81.15 percent of students cleared the examination. The pass percentage of regular students is 84.59 percent whereas out of the private candidates, 48.16 percent passed the exam. Notably, the minimum pass percentage is 33 percent marks in each subject.

The result followed an 80-20 question paper pattern where 80 marks are for theory and 20 marks for internal assessment. Among the 80 marks of theory, 20 questions with 1 mark each were Multiple Choice Questions that helped increase the pass percentage. As per the principal secretary of the school education department, this marking pattern helped to increase the pass percentage of students.

This year, the Karnataka Board Pre-University Certificate (PUC 2) exam was administered by the board from March 1 to March 22.
