NEET 2024 Answer Key: Latest Update On Answer Key And OMR Sheets

National Testing Agency (NTA), the national agency that conducts competitive examinations, will release the NEET answer key anytime soon, according to a report. National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET), the national level entrance test for undergraduate medical courses in the country, was held on May 5 across 4,750 centres in 571 cities (including 14 cities abroad). NEET answer key along with the candidate OMR sheets will be released at exams.nta.ac.in/NEET, the official website of the entrance exam.

Once the NEET answer keys have been released, candidates will be given chance to challenge them before the release of NEET final answer key release and then the NEET results. The NTA will release an online link for the candidates to challenge the NEET answer keys. The challenge will be allowed after a payment from the candidates.

NEET answer keys will also allow the students to calculate their scores.

As per the schedule released by the NTA, the NEET 2024 results are expected to be announced by June 14.

The NEET UG 2024, according to a statement from NTA, saw record-high registrations this year, with over 24 lakh students registering, the highest ever, with over 10 lakh male students, and over 13 lakh female students. “This increase was facilitated by opting for several smaller cities as centers, especially in the Northeast, apart from Puducherry, Jammu and Kashmir, and other states” the NTA had said in a statement.

The National Testing Agency has been conducting the NEET (UG) since 2019 with the approval of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and the Ministry of Education, following the directive of the Supreme Court of India. As mandated by Section 14 of the National Medical Commission Act, 2019, NEET (UG) serves as a common and uniform entrance test for admission to undergraduate medical education in all medical institutions. Similarly, under Section 14 of the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine Act, 2020, NEET (UG) is required for admission to undergraduate courses in BAMS, BUMS, and BSMS within the Indian System of Medicine. Additionally, NEET (UG) is applicable for admission to the BHMS course under the National Commission for Homeopathy.
