NEET UG 2024 Registration Deadline Extends Till March 16

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET UG 2024) till March 16. Earlier the last date to fill the application form was March 9. Candidates may visit the official website – neet.ntaonline.in to fill out the application form to appear for the MBBS entrance exam. Since February 9, 2024, people have been registering for the NEET (UG) – 2024 online application forms.

The National Testing Agency will administer the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET (UG)) – 2024 in pen and paper (offline) mode on May 5, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 05:20 PM, across the nation and in 14 places outside of India.

As per the notification, on the direction of the Hon’ble Minister, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, and the National Medical Commission, “it is informed that all the changes proposed in NEET (UG) – 2024 shall be deferred for the current year i.e. there will be no changes in the terms and conditions except for the syllabus in comparison to the NEET (UG)2023. The revised Information Bulletin is also uploaded for information of all candidates.”

Candidates are advised to keep visiting the official websites of NTA for the latest updates.

According to NTA, the new syllabus has been prepared based on recommendations received from the National Medical Commission (NMC) and various boards. This move is in line with the changes made to the syllabus for classes IX to XII due to academic disruptions during the pandemic. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) were compelled to reduce the syllabus for classes IX to XII due to the pandemic-induced lockdown.

Applicants seeking the NEET form for 2024 must register by providing their email addresses, mobile numbers, and personal information. They will obtain an application number and password after completing the NEET Application Form 2024, which they must use to log in and complete the remaining sections of the form.
