The National Testing Agency has issued the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (UG) – 2024 today, June 4, 2024. Candidates who appeared for the examination can go to the NTA’s official website – neet.ntaonline.in to check their results. To check the NEET -UG 2024 the required login credentials are the application number and date of birth.

The result has been announced, however, the official cut-offs have still not been announced by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). The cut-off marks set the minimum score that a candidate must secure to be eligible for admission into the MBBS and BDS courses. Those who secure above then the cut-off are allotted medical seats during the counseling procedure.

The cut-off includes the qualifying cut-off and admission cut-off.  The qualifying cut-off is released as a percentile which varies for categories including SC, ST, OBC, and general categories. The admission cut-off is a mark range and is decided by many factors including the number of seats available, the reputation of the college, the candidate’s category, and the quota system.

The NEET UG rank is based on the candidate’s score in the exam. For each correct answer 4 marks are awarded and for each incorrect answer 1 mark is deducted.

The NEET UG – 2024 result was announced within one month after the examination was conducted on May 5, 2024. The medical test was organized in 557 cities in India and 14 cities abroad. Over 24 lakh medical aspirants appeared for the all-India level medical entrance examination NEET (UG) – 2024. Out of the total candidates, 10 lakh were male and over 13 lakh were female along with the 24 third gender candidates.

NEET UG 2024 Score: how to check it

Step 1: Go to the NTA official website – neet.nta.nic.in to check the score.

Step 2: Click on the NEET UG 2024 score link.

Step 3: Enter the login credentials- application number and date of birth

Step 4: Submit and the NEET UG 2024 score card will be displayed

Step 5: Download and save or print out it for further use.
