The paper leak and cheating cases have become the news every day almost. Amid all the already ongoing controversies surrounding the entrance examinations and other examinations, a new case of mass cheating emerged in the Rajasthan State Open School Board Examination Centre in Phalodi district. The Rajasthan Education Department vigilance squad caught the mass cheating at the school.
Reportedly, the incident took place while the Rajasthan State Open School exams of classes 10 and 12 were being conducted at the Panji Ka Bera Government Higher Secondary School in Kolu Rathod in Phalodi district in Rajasthan.

The vigilance squad, while arriving at the school found the entry gate locked and then climbed over the wall to get inside the premises. Upon entering the classrooms, the vigilance team found the teachers writing the answers to the examination being held at the time, on the blackboards. The team members took videos of the teachers, clearly violating the rules of the examination.
Nishi Jain, who led the squad, reported to NDTV, that the team was tipped off about the mass cheating in the school. The vigilance team crossed the school walls and found the mass cheating happening at that moment inside the school, she said. The teachers were indulged in writing answers on the boards for students to copy. Additionally, she said that the team also recovered cash amount from students that was supposed to be paid to the teachers. One student had an amount of Rs 2100 and another was to give Rs 2000 to the teacher.
The police team reached the school and a case was registered against the school principal Rajendra Singh Chauhan and 10 teachers. As per the reports, immediate actions were taken and 6 third-grade teachers along with a librarian have been suspended.

Recently, the central government has passed a bill to stop paper leak and cheating in competitive examinations and reflected its commitment to avoid any such cases in the future.
