Republic Of Turkiye Invites Applications For Turkey Scholarship 2024

The Turkiye Republic has invited applications from eligible Indian students for the Turkiye Scholarship 2024 for Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral Research Courses. Applicant may apply through the official website in an online mode by February 20, 2024.

According to public notice released by Indian Ministry of Education, “Candidates are selected directly by the Republic of Turkiye and the Government of India does not have any role in nomination or selection of candidates.” This notice is being published for wider dissemination purpose only.

Program is open both for Undergraduate and Postgraduate level.  The scholarship covers financial support, tuition fee, accommodation and health insurance in addition with the placement opportunities to its awardees at all levels of higher education.

Turkiye Scholarship 2024: Eligibility Criteria

Students should be graduates or complete studies by the end of the current academic year (before August 2024). Candidates should have a minimum of 70% in undergraduate degree, 75% for graduate degree, and 90% for candidates in Health Sciences (Medicine, Dentistry, and Pharmacy). For undergraduate programs, only those below 21 years old are allowed to apply. The Age limit set for PhD program is 35 years and maximum age for Research Scholarship applicants is 50 years

Turkiye Scholarship 2024: Application Procedure

After creating personal account and uploading the necessary document students will list university and program preferences. Students are also required to write an original letter of intent explaining preferences, expectations and future goals.

Turkiye Scholarship 2024: Language Proficiency

Those who want to enroll in programs provided under English language have to be able to show proof of language ability that is recognized throughout the world. (TOEFL or other comparable certifications, if formally acknowledged by the university). The majority of these programs demand the results of international admission tests (GMAT, SAT, GRE, etc.). While selecting programs in the application system, candidates have the option to verify the instruction”s language.

Government also provides other programs including Research Scholarships, Success Scholarships and KATIP with different application periods which are announced regularly on government’s website and social media channels.
