Telangana Govt Aims Highest Selections In Civil Services Exams, Says CM Reddy

Telanagana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy announced the recruitment of 55, 143 government officials in a single year, calling it ‘uprecentdented’ in the country. While speaking at an event of the ‘Rajiv Gandhi Civil Services Abhaya Hastam’ program to distribute Rs 1 lakh cheques to the civil services aspirants, CM Reddy said that the state government is taking all essential steps for the recruitment as per the job calender.

“Telangana has become a model for the nation”, he said, in an official release. Reddy said that the Group 1 exams had not been conducted for the past 14 years, but his government successfully conducted the exams to fill 563 administrative positions. The recruitment process for Group 1 posts will be completed by March 31, he said.

Revanth Reddy said his government’s objective is to ensure the selection of more candidates from Telangana for civil services exams. He noted that Bihar students are currently excelling in large numbers in civil services across the country.

The Telangana CM said to achieve the highest number of candidates selected for civil services in the country. To encourage candidates from state to pursue civil services, the government is providing Rs 1 lakh financial assistance through the ‘Rajiv Gandhi Civil Services Abhaya Hastam’ programme to help civil services aspirants from Telangana succeed in large numbers.
