UPSC Main Results Released: Check Updates Here
The results of Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2023 conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) from September 15, 2023 to September 24, 2023 have been released. The qualified candidates are to appear for e Personality Test (Interview) for selection to the Indian Administrative Service, Indian Foreign Service, Indian Police Service and other Central Services (Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’). Candidates are advised to check and download their result from the official website of the UPSC at https://upsc.gov.in/
How to Check UPSC Mains Result?
Step 1: Visit the UPSC official website
Step 2: On the home page, click on the link “Written Result – Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2023”
Step 3: A new page in the form of a PDF will open.
Step 4: Locate your number in the PDF.
Step 4: Download and and save/print the PDF for future reference.
The candidates who qualified the Mains Examination have to fill and submit Detailed Application Form‐II (DAF-II) form online before appearing for the interview. “Before the commencement of Interview/Personality Test of the Examination, a candidate shall be required to mandatorily indicate order of preferences only for those Services which are participating in the Civil Services Examination‐2023 and for which the candidate is interested to be allocated to in case of eventual selection, in the on‐line Detailed Application Form‐II (DAF‐II),” official release said. As per the update, the form will be available on the UPSC website from December 9 to December 15 till 6 PM.
Dates of Personality Tests (Interviews) of these candidates will be informed in due course, and it will be held in the Office of the Union Public Service Commission at Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi-110069.
The official release said that the results of 28 candidates has been kept withheld due to pending court cases. The marks sheets of all the candidates, will be uploaded on the UPSC Website within 15 days from the date of publication of the final result, i.e., after conducting Personality Tests (Interview) and will remain available on the website for a period of 30 days.
The mains examination conducted on two shifts – the first shift was from 9 am to 12 noon and the second shift was conducted from 2 pm to 5 pm. The preliminary examination for Civil Services was held on May 28, 2023, and the result was released on June 12, 2023.
