Telangana State Law Common Entrance Test 2024 Application Starts, Know More About The Exam

The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has invited applications for the Telangana State Law Common Entrance Test (TS LAWCET) and TS PG Law Common Entrance Test (TS PGLCET 2024) from today, March 1, 2024. The applications will be accepted till April 15, 2024, and April 25 with the late submission fee.

The exam will be conducted for admission into 3-year / 5-year LL.B. Regular Courses and 2-year LL.M. Courses in the Colleges of Law in Telangana for the academic year 2024-2025.

A Common Entrance Test, designated as Telangana State Law Common Entrance Test-2024 (TS LAWCET-2024) and Telangana State PG Law Common Entrance Test – 2024 (TS PGLCET-2024) will be conducted by the Osmania University, Hyderabad. The common entrance will be held on June 3, 2024, in different shifts for different courses.

The mode of the common exam will be English/Telugu and English/Urdu for TS LAWCET-2024 and English only for TS PGLCET-2024. The test will be held at the following 21 Online Test Centres in Telangana State and Andhra Pradesh.

Eligibility Criteria

The Candidates for 3-year LL. B. Course should have passed any Graduate Degree (10+2+3 pattern) of a recognized University or any other examination recognized as equivalent by the Universities concerned. The Candidates for the 5-year LL.B. course should have passed the two-year Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) with 45% aggregate marks for the general category, 42% for OBC Category, and 40% for SC/ST.

The qualifying percentage of marks in the Entrance Test is 35% (i.e. 42 marks out of a total of 120 marks). The qualifying percentage of marks in the Entrance Test is 25% (i.e. 30 marks out of a total of 120 marks). For candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes, no minimum qualifying percentage of marks.

There shall be no Age restriction for the candidates seeking admission into LL. B. Courses, through appearing at TS LAWCET as per the Bar Council of India

The online Application Fee for TS LAWCET – 2024 is Rs.900/- (Rs.600/- in case of SC/ST & PH Candidates) and for TS PGLCET – 2024 is Rs.1100/- (Rs.900/- in case of SC/ST & PH Candidates).
