BJP leader Aahir Deepak Chaudharyy reigned victory over two-time AAP MLA Ajesh Yadav by a margin of 15,163 votes. He bagged 61,192 votes while Yadav only won 46,029 votes.
Congress candidate Devender Yadav came in third with 41,071 votes. Yadav had won the Badli seat in 2008 and 2013.

In the 2020 Delhi Assembly elections, Ahlawat won by defeating BJP’s Ram Chander Chawriya by a margin of 48,052 votes. AAP had a vote share of 66.51 percent in 2020 in this seat.
In the 2015 Delhi Assembly elections, AAP’s Sandeep Kumar won the seat by defeating BJP’s Parbhu Dayal by a margin of 64,439 votes.
A total of 699 candidates, including 96 women, were in the fray. AAP and Congress fielded 70 candidates each and the BJP 68 candidates, while two seats were being contested by its allies Janata Dal (United) and Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas).
In the 2020 Assembly polls, AAP secured a massive victory, winning 62 seats, while BJP secured 8 seats. However, the Congress failed to garner any seats in the election.

The counting of votes commenced at 7 am, with initial trends emerging by 8 am. The final results are expected by 6 pm, with real-time updates available on the Election Commission’s official websites.
The Congress party had won three consecutive terms from 1998 to 2013. While, the saffron party was only able to win once. After ending the Congress rule in 2013, the Arvind Kejriwal led AAP formed the government in the national capital and further it had completed its second consecutive term (2015 to 2025).
