Bihar Election Results 2025: Will Manjhi Be Coloured Red Again?

In Manjhi Randhir Kumar Singh of JDU is leading, while Dr. Satyendra Yadav of CPI (M) is running behind with over 1600 votes.  The major contenders include Sanotsh Prasad from the BSP, Y.V.Giri from the JSP, and Randhir Kumar Singh representing the JD(U).

In the last Assembly Election held in 2020, Satyender Yadav from the CPI(M) won the Manjhi seat with 52.21% of the total votes polled. The victory margin was 59324 votes over Rana Pratap Singh of the IND. Voting in Manjhi took place in November 6, 2025 under Phase 1.

In 2015, Manjhi’s seat was won by INC candidate Vijay Shanker Dubey, while from 2005 till 2015, the JDU Gautam Singh won the seat.

Manjhi assembly constituency is one of the 243 assembly constituencies in Bihar state. It is a General category assembly seat. It is situated in the Saran district and is one of the 6 assembly segments of the Maharajganj Parliament Seat.
