BJP's Rani Sharma Leads Kalka Against Congress Incumbent MLA Pardeep Chaudhary

In the closely contested Kalka constituency, BJP’s Shakti Rani Sharma has been leading. Rani Sharma is competing against incumbent Congress MLA Pardeep Chaudhary. The BJP candidate is leading by 5097 votes.

Kalka assembly constituency saw  72.07% voting, a dip from 2019 when it recorded 72.46%. The incumbent Congress MLA had accused the BJP of ignoring the constituency while campaigning. Notably, the BJP candidate Rani Sharma was among the top ten richest candidates in the state. Sharma had the asset worth Rs 144 crore.
