Defeating the Congress candidate and Radaur incumbent MLA, Shyam Singh Rana of the BJP has emerged victorious from Haryana’s Radaur constituency as counting ends in the seat.
The BJP candidate has secured a margin of 13132 votes against the Congress MLA. Sham Singh is the former MLA of the constituency who represented Radaur from 2014 to 2019.
The election result for Haryana saw the saffron party emerging victorious in 48 constituencies while the Congress trailed behind with 37. The INLD received two and the independent three as the counting ended. The result appeared opposite to the Congress’ expectation that it can form government, supported by the exit poll predictions. The party has alleged unfair practices including EVM manipulation and has refused to accept the result.
