In the Deolali constituency of Maharashtra, Ahire Saroj Babulal of the NCP party secured her second consecutive win with a margin of 40,679 votes.

Once again proving the stronghold of the NCP party in the Deolali constituency, Ahire Saroj has defeated the Shiv Sena party and won the election with a total vote of 81,683 votes.

Whereas, Dr. Ahirrao Rajashri of the Shiv Sena Party bagged 41,004 votes. In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Ahire Saroj won by a margin of 41,7012 votes. She bagged a total of 84,326 votes, securing 58.09% of the total vote share.

In 2019, Devlali legislative assembly constituency had total 264873 electors. Total number of valid vote was 145165. Nationalist Congress Party candidate Saroj Babulal Ahire won and became MLA from this seat. She secured total 84326 votes. Shiv Sena candidate Yogesh Babanrao Gholap stood second with total 42624 votes. He lost by 41702 votes.

In the 2014 elections, Shiv Sena’s Gholap Yogesh (Bapu) Babanrao won the Deolali (SC) seat with 49751 votes. The Shiv Sena’s vote share was 37.51%, and the victory margin was 28171 votes.
