Kejriwal’s letter to the RSS chief came days after he has made serious allegation that the BJP was manipulating the voter lists in Delhi. Terming it as a part of ‘Operation Lotus’, Kejriwal on Sunday (December 29) alleged that the BJP has been tampering electoral rolls in his New Delhi assembly constituency since December 15.
The former Delhi Chief Minister alleged that a large-scale operation began on December 15, wherein 5,000 voter deletion applications and 7,500 addition requests filed so far in his New Delhi constituency. This could alter 12 per cent of the constituency’s votes, he stated.
“Operation Lotus has now reached my constituency. They are attempting to manipulate the electoral rolls to change the election outcome,” Kejriwal said.
Besides, on Monday, AAP spokesperson Priyanka Kakkar attacked the BJP of attempting to manipulate voters in the national capital, especially in the Shadara constituency. She said that BJP leader Vishal Bharadwaj submitted applications for the deletion of voters.

“BJP wants to cut the votes of the many Purvanchalis living in Delhi. One Vishal Bharadwaj of BJP gave applications for the deletion of voters’ names in the Shadara constituency. When we raised our voices against it, then he stopped it,” ANI quotes, as Kakkar is saying.
The elections to the 70-member Delhi Assembly are expected to be held in February.
