BJP candidate Anil Yadav has won from Kosli constituency with a vote margin of 17,209 votes. He had polled 92,185 votes in the election. Meanwhile, Congress candidate Jagdish Yadav has come second with 74,976 votes.
Kosli constituency is one of the 90 assembly constituencies of Haryana. Anil Yadav of BJP, Jagdish Yadav of Congress and Lavinder Singh of JJP are the major candidates from the constituency.
In the 2019 assembly election, Laxman Singh Yadav of BJP won the seat defeating Yaduvender Singh of Indian National Congress by a margin of 38,624 votes. In the 2014 election, Bikram Singh Thekedar of BJP won the seat defeating Jagdish Yadav of INLD by a margin of 10,767 votes.
As per the election commission, the estimated voter turnout in Kosli constituency was 67.7%.
During the 2019 Haryana Assembly election, BJP emerged victorious, bagging 40 of the 90 seats. The BJP formed the government in coalition with Dushyant Chautala-led JJP, which managed to win 10 seats. Meanwhile, the Congress party received 31 seats and the remaining were taken by INLD, Haryana Lokhit Party and independent candidate.
