Rajasthan Assembly Elections Result: Darshan Singh Wins Karauli Constituency

BJP candidate Darshan Singh defeated Indian National Congress candidate Lakhan Singh in the Karauli assembly segment. When Darshan Singh polled 89666 votes while,  Lakhan Singh came second with 87483 votes. Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) candidate Ravindra who came third has garnered 13182 votes.

The elections to Rajasthan State Assembly was held on November 25 for 199 seats.
In the 2018 Assembly elections, BSP won the elections where Lakhan Singh had defeated Congress”s Darshan Singh. Lakhan received 61163 votes and Darshan Singh gathered 51601 votes. Then, BJP’s Om Prakash Saini came third with 47022 votes.  Similarly, in 2008, Rohini Kumari defeated Darshan Singh and received 43681 votes. In 1998, this constituency had 133742 electors and the total valid votes was 84806.

Along with Rajasthan, the Assembly elections were held in four other states including Madhya Pradesh, Telengana, Chhattisgarh and Mizoram.
