Congress’s Virendra Singh again wins Danta Ramgarh constituency. The INC candidate defeated Gajanand Kumawat who is associated with BJP. In the 2023 election, Danta Ramgarh witnessed a tough competition between INC and BJP. There is a difference of only 7997 votes between BJP and INC. Virendra Singh polled 99,413 votes while Gajanand Kumawat polled 91,416 votes. Amraram who is the candidate of the Communist Party Of India (Marxist) garnered 20,891 votes and came to third in the current election. Legislative Assembly elections were held in Rajasthan on 25 November 2023 to elect 199 of the 200 members of Rajasthan Legislative Assembly .
Danta Ramgarh is a Tehsil in Sikar district of Rajasthan. It is one of the 6 Tehsils of Sikar district. There are 242 villages and 4 towns. This village is famous for its strategic fort built by Guman Singh Ladkhani in the year 1744. Baba Balinath was a very popular saint about 400 years back. He is regarded as a village deity in the area.

In this election, Virendra Singh who is associated with Indian National Congress party has won Danta ramgarh in 2018 at the age of 54. INC defeated BJP then. Virendra Singh won with 64,931 votes against Harish Chand Kumawat. The CPM applicant Amraram came third with total 45,186 votes. Amraram is a peasant leader who was the president of All India Kishan Sabha. Currently he is the vice-president of All Indian Kishan Sabha. The ARJP’s Rameshwar Lal least number of votes 147 in the election at 2018.
Overall, according to the latest reports out of the total 199 seats BJP is leading with 115 seats and INC is leading with 69 seats. BAP is currently third position in total seat share. Along with Rajasthan, the legislative assembly election were held in four other states including Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, Chhattisgarh and Mizoram. The results of these states have also been announced today except for Mizoram.
