BJP candidate Ram Kumar Gautam has won the election from the Safidon constituency with a margin of 4,037 votes.
Ram Kumar Gautam of the BJP has secured a total of 58,983 votes. Thus, replaced the sitting minister Subhash Gangoli of the Congress Party, who secured 54,946 votes in the election. The Safidon constituency of Haryana has been witnessing a political shift between independent candidates and the INLD party for years.
As the saffron party has fielded Ram Kumar Gautam, the constituency has witnessed a political shift. Ram Kumar Gautam was firstly elected Haryana legislative assembly from Narnaund Vidhan Sabha in 2005 with the BJP party, and he was elected for the second time to the Haryana Legislative Assembly from Narnaund in the 2019 Haryana Legislative Assembly election as a member of the Jannayak Janta Party.
In 2019, Subhash Gangoli of the Indian National Congress won the seat by defeating Bachan Singh Arya of the BJP with a margin of 3658 votes. Safidon Assembly constituency falls under the Sonipat Lok Sabha constituency.
