New Delhi: After poll debacle from Delhi’s Greater Kailash seat, former AAP MLA and Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj has turned to YouTube to engage directly with citizens. He has been handling ministerial portfolios such as health and urban development, tourism, art and culture, industries and flood control in the AAP government.

On Wednesday, he has launched a YouTube channel called ‘Berozgar Netaji’ and it currently crossed over 52,7000 subscribers. In the 58-seond introductory video on the YouTube platform, Bharadwaj said February 8 election results have changed the political landscape in the national capital. “For leaders like us, it is a 180-degree flip. We are now berozgar (unemployed),” he said.

Continuing further, he said that many people are reaching out to him WhatsApp and Twitter. “Many people have been reaching out on WhatsApp and Twitter. I wanted to tell you what happens in a politician’s life after an election loss, what is all changing in the life.”

Besides, through this platform, he will also try to address viewer’s questions as well. AAP leader promises to come up with a new topic every day on his channel.

“I will talk to the people of Greater Kailash as well as the city about their issues,”  Bharadwaj told Indian Express.

Bharadwaj lost the Greater Kailash Assembly constituency to BJP’s Shikha Roy by a margin of 3,188 votes. A close associate of AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal and a member of the party’s Political Affairs Committee, he has been winning the seat since 2013.
