Senior AAP Leader Rajendra Pal Guatam Joins Congress

New Delhi, September 5: Senior AAP Leader and former Delhi minister Rajendra Pal Guatam today joined the Congress.

He was inducted into the Congress by the party general secretary in charge of organization KC Venugpal and Chairman of the Media and Publicity Department Pawan Khera.

Speaking on the occasion, Venuogpal said, it was matter of great pride for the Congress that Gautam had joined the Congress party as he believed that only the Congress was sincere in implementing the policy of social justice.

Gautam said that he felt only the Congress party was pursuing the cause of the socially marginalized and downtrodden people in the country and he eventually decided that he should be working with such a party.

He praised the Bharat Jodo Yatra led by Rahul Gandhi for unity, harmony and social justice.
