Chinthakunta Vijaya Ramana Rao, a candidate of the Indian National Congress (INC), has won the Peddapalli seat in the 2023 Telangana Assembly election. With 118,888 votes, Chinthakunta Vijaya Ramana Rao emerged victorious in the Assembly constituency, and the winning margin is 55,108 votes.

Chintakunta Vijaya Ramana Rao had defeated Dasari Manohar Reddy of the BRS. The BRS candidate managed to get only 63,780 votes in the election battle.
