In a resounding victory, Duddilla Sridhar Babu of the Indian National Congress (INC) emerged as the winner in the Manthani Assembly Constituency in the 2023 Telangana Assembly elections. The Election Commission officially confirmed Babu”s triumph, securing an impressive lead with a total of 103,822 votes.

Duddilla Sridhar Babu outshone his opponent, Putta Madhu of the BRS, who garnered 72,442 votes. The elections to the Telangana State Assembly were held on November 30 in 119 constituencies.

The political stage in Manthani Assembly constituency witnessed a captivating performance in the 2018 Telangana Assembly elections. Key contenders, including Chandupatla Sunil Reddy from the BJP, Duddilla Sridhar Babu, and Putta Madhu, along with independent candidates, created a dynamic electoral composition. This engaged the voters significantly, resulting in a commendable 68.71 percent voter turnout.

In 2018, Duddilla Sridhar Babu showcased his political prowess, defeating Putta Madhukar of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) with a substantial 16,230-vote margin. Duddilla Sridhar Babu secured 50 percent of the vote share in 2018, leaving an indelible mark on the constituency”s political landscape. The 2018 election results showcased Babu”s adept political orchestration, amassing 89,045 votes, and the winning margin was 16,230 votes.
