One of the blockbusters of the year, Thalapathy Vijay”s Leo will be streaming on Netflix from Friday. Released on October 20, the movie has grossed over Rs 600 crore worldwide. Helmed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Leo was part of Director”s much celebrated Lokesh Kanagaraj Universe (LCU).
Sharing the release of the movie on their platform, Netflix India wrote on Instagram: “Kondadi kolutha ready ah? 24 hours to go for Thalapathy dharisanam!” As it releases in India on Thursday, the movie will be available for the Netflix”s global audience from 28th November in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi.

Apart from Vijay, the movie features Trisha Krishnan, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mathew Thomas and Priya Anand in significant roles. Leo is produced by S. S. Lalit Kumar of Seven Screen Studio, along with Jagadish Palanisamy as co-producer. Vijay”s never-seen-before avatar in the movie, Anirudh Ravichander’s brilliant background score, excellent VFX effects, AnbAriv’s stunt choreography, and Manoj Paramahamsa’s visuals were some of the highly praised aspects about Leo.
The movie marks the second collaboration of the Thalapathy Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj after Master. Vijay’s earlier films, Mersal, Beast and Sarkar are also streaming on Netflix.
