Aamir Khan Meets Late ‘Dangal’ Co-Star Suhani’s Parents

Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan paid a visit to the bereaved family of Suhani Bhatnagar in Faridabad on Thursday evening. Suhani had tragically died on February 17 after suffering from a rare inflammatory disease called dermatomyositis. She was 19 years-old.

In a touching gesture of empathy, the actor inquired about her illness and expressed his heartfelt condolences to her grieving family. He can be seen standing with Suhani’s parents and relatives, holding a framed photo of Suhani. The actor’s visit was confirmed by Suhani’s uncle Navneet Bhatnagar, according to NDTV.

The news of Suhani’s tragic passing sent shockwaves across the industry, with everyone mourning the loss of a young talent.

Aamir Khan Productions had issued a statement on Instagram, following the death of Suhani, mourning the loss. The statement read, “We are deeply saddened to hear about our Suhani passing away. Our heartfelt condolences to her mother Poojaji and the entire family. Such a talented young girl, such a team player, Dangal would have been incomplete without Suhani. Suhani, you will always remain a star in our hearts. May you rest in peace.”

Previously, Suhani’s mother had recalled the beautiful bond the actor shared with Suhani. According to media reports, she had said that the actor remained in touch with the family long after the film’s release. The actor had even invited the Bhatnagar family to his daughter Ira’s recent wedding.

The actor had also visited Suhani’s residence in Faridabad to attend her prayer meeting

Khan shared screen space with Suhani in the 2016 release Dangal, where she portrayed the childhood version of wrestler Babita Phogat, the daughter of Aamir’s character, Mahavir Singh Phogat.
