Amir Khan’s Dangal actress, Suhani Bhatnagar died at the age of 19 on Saturday morning. She played the role of young Babitha Phogat in the film Dangal. The cause of her death is still unknown.

Amir Khan’s production company Amir Khan Production confirmed the demise of the actress on X. As per Hindustan Times, the actress was undergoing treatment for her fractured leg at a hospital.

Aamir Khan Productions tweeted, “We are deeply saddened to hear about our Suhani passing away. Our heartfelt condolences to her mother Poojaji, and the entire family. Such a talented young girl, such a team player, Dangal would have been incomplete without Suhani. Suhani, you will always remain a star in our hearts. May you rest in peace.”

As per Jagan”s report, the medication the actress received had caused her side effects. It”s said that her body started retaining fluid which is believed to be the reason for her death, reports India Today. However, no official confirmation regarding the cause of her death has been announced yet. She was admitted to the AIIMS hospital in Delhi for quite some time for treatment.

She will be cremated at the Ajronda crematorium in Sector 15, Faridabad.

Dangal is the 2016 biographical sports drama, directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao under Aamir Khan Productions. In the movie, Suhani played the role of Babita Phogat as the daughter of Aamir Khan. Apart from the film, the actress was also part of a few commercials.
