As per the NDTV report, the car was purchased from Satish Motors Pvt.Ltd, an authorized dealer for Jaguar Land Rover, with a warranty valid until January 2023. Due to the Covid-19 lockdown, the car remained mostly unused until the restrictions were completely lifted.

Once she started using the vehicle, Sen alleged that she encountered with numerous issues including a noisy sunroof, screen lags, a faulty sound system, and issues with the rear-end camera.

In the complaint the actress has filed, she claimed that on August 25 2022 the malfunctioning rear-end camera led to the car colliding with a pillar. She further added that despite informing the issues with the dealers, they were dismissive and asked for evidence before addressing her complaints.
