YG Entertainment, a South Korean multinational entertainment agency, recently confirmed that actor-model Ahn Bo-hyun and singer-actress Kim Ji-soo ended their relationship. The agency was responding to a speculative report on the couple ending their relationship. The celebrity couple’s relationship was confirmed only few months back in August. On answering the break-up, the agency simply said that it is “true that Jisoo and Ahn Bo Hyun broke up” and added that the two are intended to be friends in the future.
Ahn Bo-hyun – the 35-year-old – is a South Korean actor, model and television personality under FN Entertainment. He made his acting debut in 2014 and so far, appeared in various films and television dramas. He achieved success and made a turning point within his acting career through Itaewon Class. Meanwhile, the 28-year-old Kim Ji-soo is a South Korean singer and actress. She is a member of the South Korean girl group Blackpink, formed by the YG Entertainment.
The celebrities’ respective entertainment agencies also confirmed that they were in date, on August. They have issued a statement and said that, “they are getting to know each other with positive feelings. We would be thankful if you looked upon them with warmth”.
On the work front, Jisoo has been enjoying the success of her digital single called “Flower,” while Bo-hyun was last seen in the acclaimed K-drama See You In My Nineteenth Life. Ahn Bo-hyun has an impressive career graph and is known to the industry since 2007. He started his career as a model before making his acting debut in 2014 with the KBS2 drama Golden Cross. He then led versatile roles in hit series like Descendants of The Sun (2016), Itaewon Class (2020), Yumi’s Cells (2021, 2022), and Military Prosecutor Doberman (2022). Jisoo is part of hit Kpop band BLACKPINK, a girl group which debuted in 2016. The band has become a global phenomenon very soon with its catchy songs, stunning visuals, and charismatic performances.
